Chapter 6: "IMAGINATION"
Hey cutie,
The book has been getting somewhat repetitive regarding having an inert desire backed by definite purpose, plan along with a persistent mentally to never quit until you succeed. Hey, I’m not complaining. Some people like me need a daily reminder to drill the thought past the thick skull.
Chapter 6: “Imagination” was conquered not too long ago.

Sir Napoleon started the chapter defining two (2) type of imagination:
synthetic imagination: through this faculty, one may arrange old concepts, ideas or plans into new combinations. This faculty doesn’t necessarily create anything but works with the material of experience, education, and observation with which it is fed.
creative imagination: the finite mind of man has direct communication with infinite intelligence. It is the faculty through which “hunches” and “inspirations” are received. It is by this faculty that all basic, or new ideas are handed over to man. It is through this faculty that one may “tune in”, or communicate with the subconscious minds of other men.
How deep is your imagination? Does a dream count as a form of imagination? If that’s the case I cannot describe to you my last dream lol. Apart from dreams I would say that I think a lot when it comes to business ideas and the next book I want to venture into.
What happens when your imagination is inactive? I’m assuming, just like a muscle, it becomes weak over time due to a lack of usage. The book advises center your attention, for the time being, on the development of the synthetic imagination, because this is the faculty which you will use more often in the process of converting desire into money.
As stated earlier, this chapter is repetitive to an extent and somewhat straight-forward so there isn’t much to really expound on.
Some vocab for the day:
nebulous: (of a concept) vague or ill-defined.
ephemeral: lasting for a very short time.
quiescent: in a state or period of inactivity or dormancy.
immutable: unchanging overtime or unable to be changed.
conceivable: capable of being imagined or grasped mentally.
paradoxical: seemingly absurd or self-contradictory
assimilate: take in and understand fully (information or ideas)
incidental: happening as a minor accompaniment to something else.
apex: the top or highest part of something, especially one forming a point.
Some lines that stood out to me:
“Man’s only limitation, within reason, lies in his development and use of his imagination.”
“Desire is only a thought, an impulse. It is nebulous and ephemeral. It is abstract, and of no value, until it has been transformed into its physical counterpart.”
“Ideas are products of the imagination.”
“Moreover-and this statement is of stupendous importance- this earth, every one of the billions of individual cells of your body, and every atom of matter, began as an intangible form of energy.”
“Desire is thought impulse! Thought impulses are forms of energy.”
'“where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
“Generally speaking, an idea is an impulse of thought that impels action, by an appeal to the imagination.”
“Riches, when they come in huge quantities, are never the result of hard work alone!”
“He learned that many people buy titles, and not contents of books.”
Next time on Dragon Ball Z.
