"Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man", by Steve Harvey with Denene Millner
"EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MEN AND RELATIONSHIPS IS RIGHT HERE"
I’m currently 18 and have ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE with women. So, I think this book will help me in the future, understanding what men should do, what women should expect and what she should do as well, in order get what she wants. Does this mean I can lowkey manipulate women who don’t have this knowledge to do what I want or allow me to get away with things I shouldn’t be (not saying that manipulation was the motive for reading this book or that my goal is to manipulate women. Okay Caton, stop typing now)? With great power comes great responsibility.

The introductory paragraph was getting the reader, myself, excited as what to expect in the coming sections of the novel.
It simply stated that women are unaware of the games men play, the power they have as a woman, the make-up/encryption of a man as well as the overall difference with the way men think in comparison to the opposite sex, women. Reading this book has given me the opportunity to see the female’s point of view/ paradigm of men and relationships and has helped me to better understand what women go through on a day-to-day basis. Hopefully, when I’m in the dating market this information throws itself in the forefront of my brain.
“This is what I wish for the women who read Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. I want every woman who truly wants a solid relationship but just can’t figure out how to get one, and those who are already in a relationship and trying to figure out how to make it better, to forget everything she’s ever been taught about men- erase the myths, the heresy, everything your mother told you, everything your girlfriends told you, all the advice you’ve read in magazines and seen on television- and find out here, in these pages, who men really are. What men count on is that you’ll continue to get your advice from other women who do not know our tactics or our mind-set. Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man is going to change this for you.”
Word for the day:
heresy: opinion profoundly at odds with what is generally accepted.
Ready or not, here I come.
